Libby Purves really is a pro

I never really thought that much about the great art of interviewing people outside the norms of news/political journalism. I have often listened to Libby Purves but it is only since I have started this course that I have deconstructed all the radio that I listen to. She really manages to get her interviewees to be open and really express themselves, without flattery or pressurised  negative questioning. her style is almost laissez faire but she manages to get so much from them. She is not afraid of pauses or taking a moment for contemplation.

New computer

What a joy. A laptop that can be moved without any threat of total physical destruction. I'm a very happy bunny.
Freecycle has also provided me with a desk to sit and work on so I am not sat crouched on a toddlers chair for hours on end. Ya dancer
